To ensure the highest print quality and a smooth production process, please review and follow the artwork requirements below before submitting your files.

Please note that some stages of the Packara production process are automated. By ensuring that your artwork meets our guidelines you will avoid unnecessary delays in processing and printing your order.

Supplied Templates

Packara provides templates for all our products to make setting your art up easy.

  • All artwork must be positioned, aligned, and sized within the template exactly as supplied.

  • Do not modify, resize, remove pages, or alter the template’s guides, dielines, bleed areas, or safe zones.

  • Changes to templates or artwork placed outside designated print areas or not aligned with the template may result in delays, additional setup charges, or rejection of the file.

  • Dielines, safety margins, and instructional layers must remain visible when artwork submitted .

File Formats

Files submitted to vis our online link must be print ready PDF format.

Resolution Requirements
  • All artwork must be at least 300 dpi at final print size.

  • Images taken from websites (typically 72 dpi) are not suitable for printing.

Colour
  • Submit all artwork as CMYK colour for the most accurate print results.

  • You may include Pantone PMS colours as spot colours but note they will be converted to CYMK values for print. We do not accept any other spot colour matching and the use of spot colour values other that PMS colours will delay your order.

  • Files submitted in RGB will be converted to CMYK for printing and will result in colour varying from expectations. Packara accepts no responsibility for colour shifts as a result of the customer supplying RGB files.

  • Bold, solid colours generally produce the best results on digital corrugated cardboard printing. Light or pastel colour may appear grainy due to the texture of the cardboard showing through the print.

  • All solid blacks should be set to CMYK: 20 / 20 / 20 / 100

  • We don't print white ink - white areas will appear unprinted

Bleed and Trim
  • Note that some variation in cutting and creasing will occur and is unavoidable as part of the production process. We recommend customers take this into consideration when designing their artwork.

  • Our templates include bleed areas. Ensure backgrounds or edge-to-edge images extend fully into the bleed area to allow for variations in cutting.

  • Keep all essential text, logos, and design elements at least 5mm inside the trim edges.

Fonts & Text
  • Outline or embed all fonts to prevent substitution issues.

  • Minimum recommended font size:

    • 8 pt for standard print

    • 10 pt Medium for reverse text (light text on dark background)

Images & Graphics
  • Use only high-resolution, print-ready images.

  • Avoid screenshots or images copied from the internet.

  • Ensure embedded graphics are set to 300 dpi.

Transparency & Effects
  • Be cautious with shadows, glows, gradients, and other effects, as they may print differently than they appear on screen.

Orientation
  • Carefully check that the orientation of your artwork on each panel of the template matches your expectations when the box is folded up. Pay particular attention to the sides and inside lid.

Colour Variability Disclaimer
  • Due to differences in monitor calibration, ink formulations and print processes, minor colour variations may occur between digital proofs and final printed products.

Copyright & Licensing
  • By submitting artwork, you confirm that you have all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions for any images, fonts, or content used.

Artwork Rejection
  • The company reserves the right to reject artwork that does not meet technical requirements or that violates legal, ethical, or public-good standards.
